Stratford, Connecticut

Catalina Food Group is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to help keep our production facility clean, safe, and sanitary in Stratford, CT. No problem — we provide the training you need to succeed. This is a full-time, weekly-paid position based in Stratford, CT.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Clean, rinse, and sanitize all equipment, sheet pans, and containers daily
• Wash kitchen grills and keep the dishwashing area, sinks, and floors clean
• Dispose of grease and take out trash, cleaning trash containers daily
• Keep the chemical room clean, organized, and follow proper chemical dilution procedures
• Remove smocks and close the front gate at the end of each shift
• Wear proper PPE at all times, including gloves, boots, ear protection, and eye protection
• Follow proper handwashing procedures throughout the shift
• Report any equipment damage or safety hazards immediately
• Ensure the exterior of the production area is clean and free of trash

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food production, sanitation, or a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions (English or Spanish)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, or wet environments depending on production area
• Ability to safely navigate areas that may include wet or slippery floors
